Bottomless Pit

Hey y’all!! How was your day??

My run today went a little differently than I had planned. I originally made my training plan out to where I would do my long run on Tuesday and a longish run on Saturday. Now looking at it, I think it would be better for me to be doing my longest run on Saturday instead of during the week. I made this decision mainly based on the fact that I have a lot more to get done school-wise on the weekdays than on the weekends. So anyway, I switched out my 10 miler today for my Saturday 7 miler, and will be doing 10 on Saturday.

The run itself was great! I decided to download an audiobook to listen to while running and I LOVED it!! Lauren suggested a book called Firefly Lane, so that’s what I downloaded! I am on CH. 5, and am totally loving it! Thanks girl for the great suggestion!  I was a little worried about running to an audiobook instead of music, but it actually made the time fly by!! My pace was awesome too!

Time: 1:08

Avg. pace: 9:48/mile!!

Yay for under 10 minute miles for 7 miles!! I’m super pumped about this! I just need to keep it up!!

I decided to split lunch up into 2 different mini meals because I knew I would be extra snacky this afternoon since I’m always starving the days I run!! First up…

The star of this meal!! I finally found the Pineapple Chobani at Whole Foods and was so excited to try it!!

011

I mixed 1 container of Pineapple Chobani, 1 chopped pear, and 1/2 cup Kashi Go Lean Crunch!

All mixed up!! This was awesome!! I will definitely be recreating this for breakfast very soon!!

After a few hours and lots of studying, I was ready for lunch round 2!!

014

A Peanut Butter Cookie Larabar, and wheat thins with hummus. Loved this flavor Larabar! Found this item at Whole Foods also!!

013

Along with some hot tea!

I did nothing else exciting for the rest of the day, just studied! Man, my life is so exciting… But, I did have a study partner!

I just can’t seem to keep Sadie away from my Anesthesia books!!

I got super hungry a bit before dinner time, so I had a few chips and salsa.

And then finally for dinner, I heated up some leftover pasta from last night and made a big salad!

And if you can believe it, I am still hungry! I am like a bottomless pit! I think I just need to go to bed! Haha!!

I am currently watching The Biggest Loser!! Love that show! And when it’s over, I will be watching the last episode of Glee that I haven’t seen! I am so ready for the new season!!

See y’all in the morning!! I am MAKING myself get up early to workout! No resetting alarm clocks!!

  4. I love 'reading' books on long runs. They totally help the time fly. I'm right in the middle of one now, but I'll check out the one your listening to right now when I'm done. Thanks for the tip.
