Step by Step

Good morning friends!!

I had a fun time last night at Boscos!! The food was yummy and the company was great! I had a Black Bean and Goat Cheese Tamale and side salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette. Everything was awesome! Sorry, no pics. I’m still a little shy about taking food pictures in public :)

I had planned on getting up early for a workout before class, but that didn’t really happen… I have a bad habit of resetting my alarm clock in the middle of the night when I know I can sleep in a little longer and workout later! Ha! So, looks like I will be working out this afternoon instead! I have a feeling Jillian might be kicking my butt this afternoon!

Breakfast this morning was wonderful! This creation is definitely a keeper! Here’s the step by step process…

003

First, toast your sandwich thin, or bread, whatever you have on hand.

004

Next, mash 1 banana until it gets ooey gooey and oh so yummy!

005

Take your said toasted sandwich thin (or bread) and spread with your favorite PB or AB. I tried to use close to 2 TBSP so it would keep me full!

006

Lastly, top with mashed banana for one of the best breakfasts ever!!

007

Enjoy with a cup of coffee!

I have some fun plans after class today!! I am first going to Fleet Feet to buy some new running shoes, since mine now have holes in them! I am a little embarrassed to say that I’ve never been properly fitted for my running shoes in all the years I’ve been running! I just pick out what I think will work, and it usually does! Until, this last pair of shoes I bought that I think definitely had something to do with the plantar fasciitis I’ve had to deal with. So, now I feel it’s time to be properly fitted! Yay!!

After I buy my shoes, I am going to one of the best places ever, Whole Foods!! I don’t get to go here often because it’s about 30 minutes from my house, but when I’m in the area, I definitely like to hit it up!!

And my last stop for the day will be Muddy’s Bake Shop, to get us some cupcakes for dessert tonight!! Wohoo!! If you remember, I had Muddy’s cupcakes for my birthday and thought they were fabulous!! I’m excited to see what flavors they have today!!

Sounds like a fun day, right?!? Now, just gotta get through class!! I hope y’all have a great Friday! Almost the weekend!!

  1. I had the oats this morning with: strawberry banana yogurt, a mashed banana, and reduced sugar strawberry jelly. It was DELICIOUS!! :) Thanks Niki!

  2. Let me know how it goes at FF! I've never been fitted before either, but I've been there a couple of times for shorts. Eric (owner) showed me a demonstration of what they do and its awesome!! Have fun and let me know the details! I think I might get some new ones for my bday...I have the same as you and I think they are good shoes, but not the best for me.

  3. Enjoy the cupcakes :)
