This is a yoga kind of morning

Happy MLK day!! I hope many of you have the day off, like me! Unfortunately, having the day off for me just means not going to class. I still have tons of reading I need to be doing, not sure where to start though!! Ahh…

I got up a little before 7am this morning, and for some crazy reason, wasn’t hungry yet! This NEVER happens!! So, I decided it was definitely a yoga kind of morning!! I did Polly’s Yoga for Yin and Yoga for Digestion in the dark! It was so relaxing to have all the lights out! I haven’t done one of Polly’s videos I didn’t like!!

Before I show you breakfast, I wanted to share a treat that I had last night!! I was having banana withdrawals yesterday, since I didn’t have one all day! So, I decided to to something with a banana for dessert! I came up with a mashed banana and chocolate chips!! Awesome combo!


As y’all can tell by now, I am totally obsessed with mashed bananas! They are AMAZING!!!

OK, onto brekkie!!


I had a yummy bowl of oats that contained:

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 2/3 cup almond milk
  • 1 mashed banana (added in at beginning)
  • dash of cinnamon
  • splash of almond extract
  • Toppings: blueberries, ~1 TBSP Kashi Go Lean Crunch, and PB

Yum, yum, yum!! I am really digging the crunch factor from the Kashi cereal!!


And some DD Hazelnut coffee on the side!!


Goals for the day:

1. Wedding band(as in rings) shopping!! Super pumped about this!!

2. Really listen to my hunger cues and not munch out of boredom

3. Read, read, read!!
